Why I joined Tavus as the Head of Growth Marketing

I’m thrilled to announce I've officially joined Tavus as Head of Growth Marketing at the beginning of June, which was already set up to be a record month anyway.
This one hits differently though. I've always been obsessed with building tech stacks that don't just simplify things but actually create an unfair competitive edge.
That's how Tavus initially landed on my radar.
This story really starts between 2016 and 2018, when some friends and I built Ahoy.AI, an early autonomous meeting scheduler that used NLP to find the most ideal time for everyone to meet.
We got some decent traction and even got featured in TechCrunch... but at the time, AI infra was still primitive. Fast forward to 2021, and I'm leading growth marketing at Ramp during early hypergrowth days, constantly looking for any lever that could push the needle forward.
That's when I stumbled upon Tavus and became customer #5.
We deployed Tavus for our outbound efforts and instantly unlocked a completely new medium that previously didn't exist—it was mesmerizing to see the scale and explosiveness in terms of potential.
That following summer, I would help Quinn and Hassaan with different growth hacks or tactics they could put to action around their YC days.
While it's been fun being a cheerleader over the past few years, I'm excited to get in the game and build.
Today, Tavus has evolved into something genuinely groundbreaking: real-time conversational AI humans who can see, hear, and interact naturally in live video calls. It's magical. It actually feels human.
The use cases are truly infinite:
The magic is deploying thousands of these personalized AI interactions simultaneously, creating genuine human-like conversations at scale.
From customer to advisor/fan to employee, it still feels like we're just getting started.
Sometimes, the best moves just feel inevitable 🚀
Ps... we’re hiring across the board, including a RevOps Lead, Vibe Growth Marketer, and Growth Engineer :)
